Simon and Brooke's wedding day plans were thrown into chaos when COVID-19 hit the world. I feel for them, having planned an amazing day which was fast approaching, the excitement was building and then they were forced to reschedule. Instead of their wedding I thought what better way to commemorate the day that should have been, with an engagement shoot instead. We headed for the the best views of Brisbane with the Story Bridge as our backdrop.

Winter weddings and shoots are my favourite and this day definitely delivered! We wandered around Howard Smith Wharves (which was a ghost town which is just so weird to see) before having a quiet moment at Wilson Outlook Reserve, lapping up that afternoon sun. As the sun started to drop we popped some champagne and had some fun with the light. Winter, I love you.

I'm so looking forward to photographing their wedding next year, just down the road. A gorgeous couple inside and out that deserves the most magical day x
